no spark!!

Done a conversion from a 1.2 - 1.4.
I can't get no spark when I connect up the 1.4 Distributor to the 1.2 coil. Not sure if the Hall effect contacts from distributor are OK. I know the coil is OK but don't know if it will work with 1.4 distributor. Any Ideas??? Haynes manual looks like there may be more bits required??

you will need matched 1.4sr dizzy/coil/module

can you not keep the entire 1200 head and dizzy/coil. U would gain a bit more power due to the higher compression.

cheers steve im goin to get a new coil and module today at the scrapy!!
cant use the 1.2 head have bought a square port manifold 4 t40's!!
