I have been driving a death trap!
just replaced the nova cross member and it was rotten as a mother fucker, the chassis legs were rotten as well and drove it 7 miles home and it ate the fan belt just as i got on my driveway - gutted.
much better than it was tho, no rot on front end at all now, everything has been replaced!
next - suspension or nos

i have just purchased new panels etc to keep my beast alive for a few more years to come 8)
done fan belt now - problem was : -
due to the alternator hitting the tie bar the fans have been smashing off and there was 1 fan left (die hard fan of the alternator) and it was razor sharp and it was hitting the fan belt everytime the pully turned - so snapping fan belts.
last night up fezzy, playing with a 206 HDi 2.0l and beat it by a country mile!
just parked up and left me nova for a bit, gets back about an hour later and goes to reverse out of the bay and the track rod end broke off the steering on the drivers front wheel - RAC thank you for towing me home.
off the road again.
