yes they are stretch bolts and can only be used once!!!

make sure you use a genuine vuaxhall gasket+bolts!

wont do any damage, used head bolts more than once on several occasions.however it isnt advised i guess,as for genuine parts ,ive never bought any and had no probs wiv gaskets

to stop any requirements for retorquing the headbolts are essensially overtightened and they then stretch slightly so they are applying the correct torque

the problem u get is if u try to reuse them they wont stretch the same way so your torque settings will be out and you could crack the head or summat nasty like that

Or you could snap part of the bolt off in the block! :?

yup, they stretch quite a lot. you wont get the correct torque setting and a chance they will snap. iv used non vuax bolts before and a head snapped off 1 as i was putting it in. also iv used a non gen vuax gasket and it only lasted 500 miles before it started leaking
