i've got to change the rear brake cylinder on my astra i got the new bit in went to undo the bolt from the brake pipe to the old one and it's fcuked the head of the nut is a near perfect circle.
also the nut that attaches from the flex pipe to the metal pipe doesn't look that good either
any ideas anyone???

its fucked

you'll need a blowtorch/oxy/hacksaw to get it off and you'll need a new bit of copper pipe to go between the flexy at the beam to the cylinder

It's sorted!

dumped all the brake fluid out, hacked the pipe to bits then wacked a socket over the nut an freed it then got a new line made up an fitted it sunday
cost me ?22.30 in total with the new line and cylinder not bad i reckon!
