dash swap help

right got myself a astra digi dash last week and was wondering a couple of things
1. how hard is it to fit into a mk1 dash (not talkin bout wires cos that bits sorted) i mean physically fitting in place of my old clocks
2. if the above is to hard i will prob fit a mk2 dash , but if i do this what is involved , do i need to cut the plugs of all the switches and fit mk2 plugs or are the the same on mk1 and mk2 so things like light switch will just swap over

not sure about fitting in a mk 1 but a mk2 dash is easy to fit, yes you do need to swap all the plugs to match the dash, but all the wires are the same colour. it will make a big difference to the interior of your car, so i would do it anyway.I did mine in a day, including taking out the old one.

so the digi goes in a mk2 easy then , and do i need all the heater pipes and stuff
