Got a quote to retrim front seats in leater and it was ?600. Also he said it would be hundreds and hundreds to do the dash. Is this guy trying to rip me off or did i have wrong impression of prices. I know someone who got a full interior trim dash, seats front and back, door cards and quater pannels in a cadilac for ?1000.
That seems expensive unless it is absolutely the best going, completely second to none
I would look elsewhere tbh if youre getting things like seats + dash done they should give you a reasonable price as theres a lot of work being carried out

Seems alright to me. Can cost up to ?10,000 to have EVERYTHING inside the car re-trimmed in (good quality) leather.
But i also got told by this guy i know that he can get a firm in Bolton to trim the inside of his car INCLUDING the dash, for not much above ?600.
Try MJ Interiors. They quoted me ?500 for bucket seats which is the biggest ball acher going apparently!
They do all the top VW's cos the guy who owns MJ is a dub fanatic so you can guess the quality!
I sell furniture for a living, and leather itself is pretty cheap, just like paint. But the skill is where the money is at. Go with a recognised company ad you will get good quality but if you scrimp you'll get a cheap job.
PS I can get you a 3 str sofa and a 2 str leather sofa cheaper than ?700 and it's good quality!
Doesn't seem 'over the top' expensive. I was quoted ?2000 for a full retrim in leather. Take a look at the work that this guy has done. Maybe it's to a really high standard? I assume that was including materials? If so, then for the amount of leather that you'll require can cost a few hundred. Do a bit more research into his work and other companies work in the area to compare.

I also would say go with MJ interiors.
ask ade's mum to do em, she did his!
i've been quoted ?1500 to retrim the whole interior in blue and grey leather
front seats: ?300 each
rear bench: ?450
front door cards with speaker pods: ?70 each
rear door cards: :30 each
labour: ?250
does that sound resonable??
Ring MJ interiors, i reckon they may be cheaper??
