what company, if they dont know wot it is then they prob wont insure you, lmfao........

if its a company that deals with mr mondeo then think again or change company

Not a valver :oops: strangly enough 1.2 wernt that cheap 1.4 sr and sri were cheapest

im insured with liverpool victoria on ANY engine in my nova, so i could have a 2.5 V8!
I'm 20, 1 yrs NCB with LV, renewal now coming up on 27th this month.

They said it dont matter what engine i have they put it down as engine modifications.

I'm now paying ?573 ona 2ltr 8v, as thats what im putting in. but i could put any engine i want in :D

told i had a gsi with a valver conversion they said no sorry we dont do engine conversions its to much of an engine mod im 25 with 0 ncb

LV's policy is at 25 u can be insured on anything inc valvers, lmfao at what they told you i have 2 options:

1. ring again (give it 2 more times as they are muppets) they will prob quote you, if its good get a reference and stuff.

2. try HIC or similar shud be able to do you a blinding deal at 25.

p.s. have you any points and have u been driving for at least a year, eg. full licence for at least a year? if so shudnt be an issue!?

Phone HIC and tell them you've got a better quote from someone else and see if they'll beat it - play them off against each other - you'll probably save more as the result of a few phone calls.
