my dads brand new VW Bora was stolen last night

not by the usual method of smashing the locks. that would be a bit too technical for the thick bastards

they only put a huge rock through the side window of the house, reached in and grabbed the keys :!:

whats worse was that my mum and dad were in. they heard a major fuck off smash and the next thing is my dads outside and the pikey twats had locked themselves in his car. they then started it and pissed off.

the lads were 12 or 13 years of age!

the next thing is were called by the police (about 20 minutes later) saying that there following it in the helicopter through liverpool.

they lost it (predictably) and the car or the ppl havent been seen since.

apparently theres been loads of exact same crimes in the area and two happened down my road last week :o

they come over from liverpool to the better areas and nick posh cars before selling them on.

even if there were caught nothing can be done because there so young.

There was a thing on TV about this...they see the keys within the house smash a window or get a long reaching pole with a hook on the end and fish them out through the letter box.

The things the g*ts are thinking of now-a-days are shocking!
Bora or Nova - locks on a nova (if i catch them they'll be handless), Bora's are far too posh!!!

In Essex it's boyracer land - there the cars that are done!

how the f*** did the helicopter lose the car?

thats just round the corner from mine too, will have to make sure emma uses disklock every night now, doesnt bother if its on my drive.(keys never left downstairs though)

Dave, i take it its a motability car then? the payment to motabilty doesnt go through until 28 days are up, unless car is recovered before then. tell your dad to ring motability finance (customer care) and ask for continuous mobility team, they MAY be able to sort him a loan car if he has no way of getting about. (you didnt hear from me though ;) )

have no idea how the helicopter lost them

apparently round here is a prime target because the cars are new and quite posh. plus its only round the corner from the tunnel to go straight to liverpool.

the policeman has just been round to do fingerprints and stuff and he says theres a gang in liverpool (toxteth) who come to the wiral to take new cars to order. he told us the flats where the car may be but told us if we do go for a look not to take the car back because this gang use firearms :o

they regulaly check the area so with luck the car may come back :?

as for the car, yep its a motorbility car. who are the continuous motability team?

shame they didn't crash it and burn to death in it little fuckers. not coz i wanted ya dads car crashed but would be good if it hurt them

no doubt the police if they caught them would say oh the poor little boy hes had a hard life lets send him to disney land.

its the people they hit whilst stealing it as well same goes for peole tha drive with no insurance think we should all chiptogether get posh car leave it with keys in and when they come to steal it it will conveiniently blow up. end of story or a small part of story any way might make them think twice tho.

Dave

sorry to hear about the car - hope that the situation resolves itself soon and your father isnt too badly inconvenienced.

This is the "forgotten aspect" of car crime. The effect on people whose car it is that gets taken. people who NEED their cars :@

my g/fs gran missed saying goodbye to her husband of 50 years or more as my g/f had had her car stolen days before and they couldnt get there in time. Whether or not she wanted to see him pass away is immaterial, they should have had the choice.

cheers

phil

:o
there was a huge queue out the door and no one did owt (including me) - was too stunned!

Thing is what can you do - be a feckin hero and then get stabbed by there mates outside!

the thing is, thew little gits that kids are these days (not all, iknow some of you have little angels) know the law far too well. they know if you touch them you get it from the cops. its a no win situation. hope they crashed and lost a limb or something.

hope things get better for your dad there dave.

tunnel is a no no... it's fitted with anpr cameras if a stolen car goes though then it is stopped at the other end.... thats assuming the car is reported stolen before it gets into the tunnel

dave.gsi
13-01-04, 10:53 PM
i know about the cameras, the policeman told us, but its litterraly a two minute journey to the tunnel so by the time youve reported it they'll be well into liverpool

still no sign of the car
