Friday night I was taking the Punto out for a spin ready for it's MOT on Sat morning. I got pulled over by a cop car (for the first time in my nearly 2 years of driving), I had a defective indicator, was doing 45 in a 30 and my tax was expired....

.... nice coppers let me off

If your trying to say she was bullshiting then your wrong :P

I was sitting in the passengers seat, the tax ran out 03/03 we where acuttally doing about 50ish (but if they say 45 let them), and there's something wrong with the passengers side head light cluster.

so....... :P

This was the first time the car had moved since February (which was b4 the tax ran out) Since then I have been driving the nova.

Yes the car was insured, I've never driven it without.

Also I dont think my car makes your insurance high, I have a luton postcode (LU1) which is one of the worst postcodes in luton and my insurance aint too high, maybe you should take a look at your driving???

Theres nothing wrong with Will's driving. Besides, that comment is irrelevant. He could drive like a t*t and not get caught and still retain his NCD each year. The point Will was making is that you should not have been driving without tax. If anything , you are the one that needs to question thier driving, doing 50 in a 30 :x

lol@ take a look at my driving i dont feel i have anything i have to justify but here goes:

1. passed test first time after 14 lesssons

2. been driving 3 years with no accident or mistake (touches wood)

3. have 2 yrs (nearly 3 in may) NCB

4. have 0 points or convictions to my name

LU4 is the worst postcode for Luton. Girls insurance is always cheaper. If you drive without tax your insurance is not valid, the insurance co. could easily pull you up on this and make your policy invalid as you werent legally driving on a public road.

No offence but I find it hard to believe you qn my driving when you have never seen it, the experience i have seen is you in a nova you came with to MK meet (you were not driving, but the person who was drove like a tit which i think most here will agree on) is that the kind of driving you mean?

Grow up the lot of ya... petty bickering will get you no where.

I'm sure we've all done illegal stuff in cars, maybe she shouldn't have been driving without tax... (Someone contradicting themselves in this post :!: ) but at the end of the day its upto her, she faces the consequences if she gets caught and prosecuted.

And as far as I'm aware having no tax does not invalidate your insurance, only no MOT.

In my opinion, the reason why a certain area will pay more for insurance is because of the crime rate.. I doubt other factors will affect it that much.

You may think I drive like a tit but thats your opinion and your entitle to it, but how comes I've never had an accident? :?:

Car

-and I passed my test after 6 lessons?

-I got 35 out of 35 on my theory test

-and got 1 minor on my practical,

-I have no points on my license

-been driving for a year (so 1 ncb)

-the only reason my car insurance is expensive is cos nova are one of the easiest cars to nick

Bike

-passed three motorcycle test CBT, theroy and practical

-never had an accident

-have 3 yrs ncb

-and thats on a bike and they're supposed to be more dangerous than a car!

so I guess what I'm try to prove is I'm a safe Driver. :P

As for puntobabe the only reason she was driving the car is because it was going it for an MOT the day after, and she had to check that every thing was ok, and just in case you were interested no where could MOT it because it was to low

lol easy now

i got 34/35 on my theory

14 minors

6 for mirrors

does it make me a bad driver? cant really tell from that, i was 17 when i took me test, nearly 21 now so who knows! lmfao.

is your insurance expensive? i find novas are cheap because they are worth fuck all, tpft is pennys, i mean try insuring a new fiesta or similar they are worth ?s so more to insure and u have to piss abt with the likes of fully comp.......... whatever that is

p.s. what motorbike licence you got? 125cc jobby?

Will

I've got a full bike license, at the moment I've got a CBR600R and a NSR125RR

And let's not go into the long conversation about wheather cars are better than bike, this time of year cars are better but come summer bikes rule,

some come summer when my bike comes out again, I can show you all how slow your little cars are, I'd even give the boost beast and run for it's money, now thats saying something

you've got no chance
