1.2 head on a 1.6

what do you guys reckon to puttin a 1.2 head on a 1.6?

good idea because it would raise compression?

or bad idea cos the 1.2 head won't work properly?

it would depend on the engine type, but mostly the head would not be worth fitting, why not skim your 1.6 head?

If you are planning to run regular unleaded, then there is not that much gain from a high cr, better breathing would be better, ie blydenstein modded head.

the 1.6 head has larger valves than the 1.2 head.
Like mowgli said, try a few thou skimmed off it, and maybe a de-coke, or a port n polish!
