Valve Waisting

Gonna be taking some bits to an engineer friend soon for some machine work. Have thought about getting the valves waisted, but has anyone got any measurements/dimensions for this? I've got to work out how much of the stem is exposed passed the guides (which are being ground back), but how thin can I go?

Although he has some top guys in his works to advise strength wise, (and the company itself is very well established) I don't know if any of them have any tuning expertise and won't til i get there

Any info would be much appreciated. they are for a e16se head by the way

hopefully my cam kit should be here in a week or so, it has waisted valves!
You can borrow a couple if you like! the kit wont be on till i get another valve and a new head!

Cool. When you get them could you measure the thinnest part of the stem and post it up?
