can anyone help me, i just fitted some m3 mirrors but some of the baseplate hangs over the window quarter
does anyone else have this problem or do i have the wrong baseplates ??
any ideas on how i cover the bits up ??
cheers

I think they had this problem in the MAx power haynes man, they used a strip fo metal to pretty it up, that is if im thinking of the right thing
no u dont have the wrong base plates mine r the same its just the way there made
also if u decide 2 swap m3's for dtm's they fit 2 on the same plates

I had a set of dtm mirrors, tey wer shit aswell the plates wer a poor fit and they dont screw to the car very well either
I have manta mirrors now and made the baseplates myself! look much better and fit ALOT better
i married the base plate to the car, looked were all the gaps were and put some foam addesive strip in there. makes them sit a little better.

also if u decide 2 swap m3's for dtm's they fit 2 on the same plates i have some dtm's they fit good to the car and the mirror dose to the plate..But yes you do get this sh1ty overhang from the plate which you see from inside, well i found the best thing to do is put some foam behined"like sticky on one side" this pack's out the plate from the window then get some sticky back plastick/or sun strip, top strip ect, thats the same colour as your car place this on the inside of your window and cut to shape...
hey presto,Job done!! :P
