Stiff clutch pedal

a friend of mine went to look at a 1.4sr today and he really likes this car, but when u push the clutch pedal it feels really stiff ,does anyone no what the problem maybe and is this a major problem or something small??? cheers

when i brought my car i noticed the clutch pedal was stiff. but its still like it and doesnt bother me anymore. doesnt affect the car.

Same thing with my old nova i just put up with it, sorry i couldnt give any real advice

only thing is the muscle in my left leg is much bigger than my right lol

And mine, lol. but you do get used to it pretty quickly.

clutch cable wrongly attached or to tight.........

the plastic lining on the clutch cable has pronbley split and dirty has got in;

If you replace the cable it will all be fine!

Just did it to mine and i have to learn to drive again! light clutches are sooo different!

Put a bigger spring on the accelerator pedal! Than will soon even them out.

it may have a sports clutch.......? they are commonly heavier to push as the springs on them are harder as they apply more pressure to the clutch plate
