Has neone put gte front seats into a 1.2 mk2 nova?? mines a flair and i cant see how they will fit on to the runners actually in the floor pan of the car cos there different to the gte runners, they dip into a sorta bow so wen u move them forward they move the seat upwards and forward n wen u move em back the seat goes back and down and they also have rubber covers on the actual runner in the car itself?? can ne1 tell us how to get em in? (it may be obvious but it aint to me lol)

you need to make sure the seat comes with the sub frame - theyre a straight swap - i fitted gte seats into my 1.2 mk2.

the only difference is the rear of the seat theres less bolts to hold it in place and instead an angled bit of metal slots into the guide thats welded to the floor. also they tend to wobble because the retaining clip from the other seats cant be fitted back in from where it came coz of the metal bracket that holds the gte seats in place. think you can stop them moving by wedging a wedge shaped bit of wood or plastic bit doewn the hole.

theyre perfectly secure - they just freak out the mot guys.
