Got an awsome bargain today in PC world on paintshop pro 8!
some were labelled as ?99.99 and some ?49.99!

i dont spose anyone out there have photoshop 5.5 and coreldraw 9 do they?

these are the packages i used during college in my computer graphic courses, so im used to them, i want to start designing again, but dont have the lizzies to buy brand new CDs for hundreds of pounds, espesh when considering it only costs a few pence for the manufacturers to burn them anyway!

You want to stay up to date with packages ideally. Photoshop 7.0 has loads more than 5.5. It might take you a little while to adjust to the newer version, but it'll be worth it.

As for Coreldraw...LOL! Don't touch it with a bargepole! Try and get Illustrator, PageMaker or if possible a PC version of Quark. These are what the industry uses and your work will look a lot better using these packages.

There is now a new suite that comes with everything, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, etc. Just make sure you have a half decent pc that can run them at a respectable speed.
