ive got this stupid 'save money' program that opens wen computer comes on and wen im on the net, howdo i get rid of it, dleted everyhting i could find.

and got this .dll file error wen i start comp too, it was a program tat came off an email automatically so i deleted it and this still happens, any way of seeing wat programs open wen i start my comp?

It sounds like you need to delete it from the registry.

Find the file in the registry and delete it, but back up the registry first

yes get adaware.

also check your startup folder on the start menu. if its not in there ull need to use adaware or edit the registry manaully and delete enties for that program.

anyone got the trojan virus that re-sets your homepage to various search engines and also changes the way you're connected to the net, without you knowing (only affects dial up, as then u pay ?1 a minute and etc). I think it's a script virus. Could be confused tho. lol

ad-aware doesnt pick it up either, need to remove it with something called shredder as it keeps re-making copies of itself in the registry everytime you delete it.

I had it a few times - didnt do anything, but it's just god-damn annoying resetting the homepage all the time.

I wud just do a format, i've got broadband so these dailers dont effect any of my computers. My other pc which my bro uses is full of spyware, so i use adware to do regular scans for this and network software to lock certain settings.
