u cant beat a valver but the 8v's are cheap as chips and easier to find,

and if the 8v is in good nick it wont take much to make it quicker than a valver and they are more reliable too.

guys could you just clear this up, lol, what is meant by 'big block' and 'small block' engines?

Small block Engine= 1.0, 1.2, 1.3 1.4, 1.6
Big Block Engine = 1.8, 2.0+
For example a 1.6 8v cam will fit in any 8v small block engine but not a 8v big block (as the cams are longer for these blocks)

1.5 Diesal and Turbo Diesal are also small block whereas the 1700 Diesal/Turbo Diesal is Big Block.

and the 2.5 V6 and 3.0 Vs are even bigger block.

i am guessing that the 2.2 litre found in the VX220 is a big block like the 2.0. correct? Does the top look the same? i.e. red?
