happy new year all!

im just putting a pierburg 2e carb onto my 1.2 which currently has the 1b carb on it. i was told i could put the manual choke from my 1b onto the 2e nd therefore loosing the autochoke as they arent so good. but im in my mates workshop and theres no way its going on! so sod it im just gonna have to use the auto, but there is a wire comeing off the auto choke, where does this connect to??? the haynes doesnt give much help! i cant do anything else until this is sorted. any one done this before, or know what to do?! thanks

john

no
switched via the ignition
you should have the wire taped up in the loom next to the alternator - black with yellow tracer iirc
