So, what would be the expected gain on a 20 year old 1200 by adding a Weber 32/34 Carb?

Hmm, I have this exact question. I have a weber 32/34 dtml carb sat in the garage at the moment just waiting to go on. i know corsanova_mark has just done this on his saloon. any ideas mark?

Well, I fitted my Weber 32/34, and after giving it a damn good clean, set it up using my Gunson Pro Tester, it was running pretty well, but I knew it was still overfueling a bit, so I took it to Spamspeed Motorsport in Bristol, it looks like a bit of a dive, but all he works on are mini's and vauxhall's for Grass track and rally. He took a fair bit of time, checking and adjusting my car and now I am greatly impressed, it has improved acceleration, top end and basic running quite a bit, he ran it up 8 times on the dyno, each time adjusting a bit more - the end result?

The first run produced 53.2hp and the last run finished off with a fairly impressive(for a 20 year old 1200  ) 60.4hp.....quite an improvement!

I have a 1.3 engine in the garage at the moment and a 1.2 in my car.

Will putting the 1.3 cams in my engine give me a gain? will i need to change anything else over as well?
