wouldnt know the answer to that mate, sorry... had proper hosting for the last few years.

Although i have to say, i do not think that the idea will work on this forum... but i might be wrong.

It might not work on here, tho to make it work you need to allow .php to be classed as an image. i'll test it and let you know

Refresh the page to see a image change randomly, this works on these forums.

Enter For example a URL to the sig file....

Random sig is a wonderful idea - except for the fact that it slows the site down because you have to load each sig image and cant just get the one from your cache.

Would prefer it if you didnt bother.

Thanks, i'll give it a try :D

I use one&one hosting, but they wont allow php scripts unless i pay an extra ?80. Cant be bothered since i only want it for messing around.

?80!!!!

Fcuking hell you can get about 3 years with h2hosting.com for that price - maybe more if you go for a basic package with lower bandwidth allowance. :o

Think my hosting is about ?50 per year or something like that, cant remember exactly.

Bollocks, so i've been buggered then. lol

It'd cost me ?140 a year with them, if i upgraded to the 'next' package! I pay ?60 a year at the mo (it's not the lowest package tho). Not including my MANY domains. lol

Can i buy webspace without registering another domain? Dont want to pay to transfer any of them. Cost me a fair lot to transfer them all.

http://www.B-One.net seems pretty good, but everytime i've actually purchased something, they say an e-mail will be sent with payment details (how to pay) and etc and they never send me anything.

At the moment i have 500MB space, 128,000 files limit, 3,000MB per month traffic, 100 pop3 e-mail accounts (plus 400 aliases), cgi-library (crap tho, as i cant execute my own and theirs are crap) it's Hosted on I/O optimised Linux version and i got ?400 worth of software (only the FTP was any good), unlimited ftp access and continues back-ups. Their servers have not been down yet, in two yeas (to be expected tho?).

Any good? Or did i pay too much? If i have, then i might cancel and go elsewhere. Only picked them cos they seemd to have the nicest advert in an internet magazine i once picked up.

http://www.oneandone.co.uk is who i'm with now.
