Wouldnt it be better to ring an insurance company and get a quote on your own car with the mods you have done to it?

That way you get a true idea of how much its going to cost.

My car is fully registered with the engine and as a two seater.

Personally i dont feel too comfortable knowing people can put in details about my car on the net. Think i will be deleating my number plate off the feature car section.

How do i do that? i have seen it done but i am not too good with computers at the mo!

i get your point just wanted a rough idea how much a 2.0l16v would cost to insure ive got a 1.6gsi so i cant do it with mine as for your plates use photoshop and smudge them out :D

Simply ring up mate and tell them you are planning to put a 2.0L in and can they quote you on YOUR car. You will never get a realistic quote giving the details of someone else's car.

I find its allways best to talk to the insurer personally, rather than fill in a form online.

As for the plates, i am on the case

Try phil at HIC, he cut my insurance by half compaired to adrian flux!

I now insure the nova and a cav gsi for less than i was paying adrian flux for just the nova.

Ring HIC and ask to speak to Phil.

FFS, when u put the reg plates into the database on an online insurance form its going to search for the car when it was orginally made / sold / registered....

had it occured to you the fact that GM never made a 2.0 16v nova that wud be a problem!

ring up and ask

if ur 17 and 18............. oh i cant be arsed to explain, let us know your quote.....

Will

p.s. borrowing reg plates is harsh, its a persons details bieng plastered everywhere of there car, which when they come to get there own quote in future might flag some thigns up that are not needed and just an arse

Ring HIC and ask to speak to Phil.

Did the same for me (Apart from the Cav GSi bit!!)
Saved half what I was paying with Adrian "unbeatable" Flux
