just tighten them up mate the head has to be torqued down in a certain order but the rocker cover gasket does not really matter.

dave.

its a case of less is more.

toruqe the bolts up if u can with the correct wrench, i think its somethink ridicluously small like 3 lbs or sommat stupid.

if you do them too tight, you will find oil will begin to leak, it really does just need tightening to keep the bolts in and it all together firmly, but if u try driving them home and crimping it all up as tight as poss it wont last long.

i have found in my experience cork gaskets to be btter and leak less than rubbery ones.

oh... theres no sealant by the way just gasket.

be sure to scrape remnants of old one off both the rocker cover and the cam carrier.

no sequence either.

u should drive a bit easier then , problem solved, at the expense of a gasket and your fuel bill  which reminds me, at midnight on christmas eve i was stranded in the middle of nowhere  as i had ran out of fuel - B@ST@RD twin 40s

Now your engine bay needs a good steamclean!
What i usually do is smear a very thin layer of grease around the gasket! Helps with the seal! but a very thin layer, like stick some on, and wipe it off with your finger!
Plus if you ever need to take it off again, it wont stick like shit to a stick!
