does ne one know if u can jus pull off the black vinyl on the boot of a gsi or is extra paint job required?

its a hell of a lot easyier 2 remove it on a hot day but since its winter like dave said hairdryer use thinners 2 2 remove and excess glue

keep it. it's not a gsi without it. well, ok it is but its a step in the direction of people not being sure its a gen. the vinals one of the tell-tail signs. it doesn't need circumcising. (spelling)

just nick your mums hairdryer. heat the boot in small blocks (say 2 inch square) at a time. make sure its pretty hot and it'll peel off in big chunks.

if its coming off in little bitch pieces its not hot enough. it should be hot to the touch before you try to peel it

yeh but the whole idea is not to let ppl know it is a genuine gsi then u can give em a nasty surprise :wink:

yeh heat it up with a hair dryer and try to do it in a garage or someware as it will cool down verry quick out in the cold and you will be there for ages
