Well finaly got my new engine last week!

Its just been rebuilt have i got nearly a ?1000 worth of receipts with it!

Its been overbored to 2.05 and has maul pistons(spelling?????)
Lightened and balanced
Brand new EBC sports clutch
Polish and ported head
Uprated rod bolts
All new shells etc in bottem end

The list goes on!

Just gotta get a cambelt kit, thermostate and rocker cover gasket!

ah my old engine makes an apearance :lol: should be good hurry up and get it in! should have bought it with the grp n chip and piper cams tho!
should run around 160bhp i rekon 8)

Hope to have it in mid febuary, i want to get the engine bay spot on first. Also doubt ill be able to get insured till june so im in no rush.

Just waiting for some insurance money to come through so i can get my cosvaux driveshafts and mounts!!!!! :lol:

PS id also get a new oil pump as rob never bothered for some stupid reason!

oyeah forgot about that, dont fancy fitting the engine and have the oil pump fail a week later.......

oil pump deffo worth it! but i think there expensive for the early type roller/tensioner style! bout ?150 from auto vaux! late type is only ?90ish!

let me know bout the belt cover m8 as a few peps on mig want it! if u want ill add it to the rest of the stuff? then pay me nxt year? wud look gud with the cam cover!

oh and u need a new breather plate!! coz i modded the one in there for the dellorto carbs :lol:
