just installed a digidash in my nova, how do i get the speedo to work properly? gives an inaccurate speed, wont go over 16mph

yeah, the connections are fine
transducer is ?30 for another one so gonna check before i buy one
reads 0 when doing ten then about 20 it reads 5 mph, at 70 it reads 16mph

on top of the digidash there are a couple of red dip switches. flick them to the other side. Or just try flickin one.

tried flicking the switches but doesnt do a thing!

Have a look at the guide on www.vauxnova.co.uk. I made loadsa notes when doin mine, including the transponder codes, if you have no luck. P.S. i've got a spare transducer kicking about somewhere if you need it - AE code if I remeber rightly

sounds like a 6pulse (8v) transducer on a 16v dash (16 pulse)

or worse a 2 pulse diesel transducer or summat :|

1.2i transducer is a 6 pulse sender which will only operate an 8v dash

16v dash requires a 16pulse sender

could be that, bought the clocks, then the transducer later on didn't know if i had 16v or 8v clocks never seen them lit, just bought a transducer from scrappers, will let you know how i go on

16v and 8v didgy clocks are the same the "blip" in the rev counter that people say is the 8v clock isnt they changed the clock style at some point an L reg 16v and 8v gte have the same clocks there are 3 different types of tranducer im am lead to beleive the wrong one on the wrong clock and it wont work
