Christmas rebuild - so far

started the rebuild a few days ago, dispite the closeness to xmas. the red ones nearly bare. jus look at the rust on it- i was surprised jus how many places i cud stick me fingers in :lol: :wink:

the engines in the purple one - interiors next the the bodywork.

the finished article will have a spec which goes......

mk1 gte shell
facelifted wings
mk2 indicator lenses but mk1 lights
mk1 gte grill, bumpers in black (no sideskirts)
dewipered/dewasher jetted tailgate
mk2 gsi rear spoiler
delocked
mk3 astra gsi fan wheels in anthracite

1600 gte engine
wait and see for mods :evil: im liking the race for the best 1600 8v this year, ive decided i want to be part of the old skool revolution. everyone seems to be turning thier attention to the old lumps- can only b a gud thing i spose.

mk2 dash
mk1 gte seats etc
eleccy everything, sunroof, windows....

im hopefull gettin a set of kw coil overs for a massive drop and thatll be th car pretty much set, till i get bored of it, rip out the engine, strengthen it, paint it and start the aggro again.
