what's the difference between a GTE and GSI? Which is better? Can u get a 16v version in either? Thanx

nah, you cant get a 16V version. they are factory made 8V versions. I think the GSi is the later 'replacement' model for the GTE. The GSi is injection fed, whereas the GTE is carb fed. anyone wanna back me up here?

Na, I think it is just a newer model. New wings, grill + lights, with a different spoiler.

think they're both injection but the gsi has a different injection system

GTE's are injection so they aren't fed by a carb....

so are there no carb-fed GTEs or GSis ???

the gte is the same basic engine as the gsi but the fuel injection was slightly imroved and the car ran a bit better. definatly none ov the engines came with a carb although a rejjeted sr twin choke carb can be fitted the reduce spending when transplanting the motors into lesser models
