mk2 window switch rewiring

i want to re wire my mk2 window switches so that up is up and down is down instead of them being the wrong way round has anyone done this? what wires do i have to swap round?

done this on my nova.

remove door panel, look inside door u will c a plug wiv 2 wires in it. blue and yellow.

pull plug apart and look inside it.there will b a little flap of metal in each wire holdin the wires in the plug.bend it so the wires come out,then bend flap out again and put wires back in the other way round.


blue 2 yellow
yellow 2 blue.

and thats it

that sounds like a long way of doing it, with mine i just took the switches out of the holder, then i carefully filed the switch holder until the left switch fitted in the right hole and vice versa job done. dont worry bout it being untidy if done carefully the lip on the switch hidesthe edge. no need to rewire or mess about took me 5 minutes to do, also means you can switch them back to original easily

when i bought my nova i didnt really notice that they were the right way round until seeing lots of others. But i should think you swap the wires over so that they work the right way.

Can't you just solder the wires round? I'd have thought this would be the easiest way?

easier to swap them in the doors... no soldering and it's unnoticable.... and i thinks thats where vaux messed up.... put the blue and yellow back to front
