Theres nothing better than the adrenalin rush of doing a 1/4mile sprint :) ...well, there are better things in life obviously, but it's good fun doing a 1/4 mile :D

Coincidently I have recently had cause to regret the amount of hard off the line starts - the gearbox started making nasty noises and the 1st /2nd synchro gave up. When me and Stuart took it apart the end output bearing was well kernackerd plus the shaft itself was damaged on a bearing face. So its now got a fresh synchro ring, bearing and output shaft in and is purring away nicely once again :D

breeny, you will never want to go back to the quarter mile after doing a track day! Its the most fun ive ever had in my car and plan to do quite a few next year.

Though i must admit i still do like the buzz of doing the quarter, as long as its against a decent car. Still get nervous when i do it.

No jokes about going backwards at ultimate street car andy! :oops:
