This afternoon i actually managed to fire it up... bearing in mint there was only the exhaust manifold no water and no filter i only let it run for a second or 2.
But the fuel pump isnt running off the wire it should be... I found the relay and have checked it works ( put it in my other astra )
The red and blue wire out of the wiring block was showing 4 volts with the ignition on, wheras my astra was reading 0 untill it was started and then showed 12V :? Any ideas because im really lost
Theres power going into the relay but i recon it might be something to do with the ecu ???? not being wired propperly ???
Basically in the Astra plug there are 13 wires isnt there.
I dont have haynes manual at moment so if anyone can help me as to what the wires are for id be gratefull .. some i do know what are for but left the wiring diagram i got at work !
Anyway
Red/Black medium thickness - Starter motor -> ignition
Red/thin Black line - mediun thickness - ???????????????????????
Brown/Yellow - ??????????????/
Brown/ Blue - ????????????/
Red/Blue - to the positive on the fuel pump ( no power coming from it )
Blue/Green - oil somemting
Green - Rev counter
Blue/White - altenator wire -> battery light
2 x Black wires 1 - Switched live ??????????
1 black = reversing switvh ?
Black/White - reverse switch
Brown - Earth
Yellow/Black - ????????????????????
Any help would be really grateful
