gearbox oil?

does anyone know where to put the gear box oil in, in a f16 box and roughly how much? cheers.

look in the top of the engine bay, to your right there will be a mass of pipes etc, under those is the gearbox top hat. there is a 17 or 19mm nut/stopper on it, you can pop the plastic breather off, or use a spanner, you call


as for the ammount, if your refilling the entire box after draining it you'll need about 1.8Litres (there is a level guage, its a bung on the side of the box near to the short drive shaft side, fill till it trickles from there)


if you have an ATB you'll need a little more, so bung in 1.9litres and run it lol

i know where u mean mate, the box bit on top of the gear box where the selectors go in. nice one mate i will do hat tomoz cheers. :D
