View Full Version : help me valver owners
i'm wanting to fit a 2l 16v in my nova, can anyone recomend a good insurance company?
i'm currently with liverpool victoria, who i thought were a really good insurance company. just spoke to them about changing the engine and they told me that the wouldn't insure a 2l nova as they can only quote me for an engine swap from an existing model ie nova sri/gte/gsi so the best i could have would be the 1.6 gsi engine. help!

yes but it wasn't until after i'd started my topic.
and reading it actually confused me more as someone said that they could get cover on a 2l with liverpool victoria!
if anyone on here has got a valver or a turbo and are insured with liverpool victoria, let me know and i'll try ringing them again!

it may depend on when the cover was taken out/when the original policy was started, as if it is just a continuation they may allow it, but may have since changed their policy on transplants.
yeah liverpool victoria have now changed there policy, and are tight as a ducks arse!
