1.6 engine

Ive got mk2 1.4i and was wonderin how much i could pick up a decent 1.6engine for as the 1.4 just aint quick enough anymore.

It really depends where you go and how good the condition of the engine is. My mate picked his up for ?150 including box and loom and all ancilaries and it had done 65k. Some places wanted ?50 for just the base engine and others wanted ?300 for a box engine and loom. Just phone around.
