exaust query need help

does any1 no if u put a 4inch backbox on a 1.2 wil u lose back pressure +wat wil it sound like any repys most appreciated

you will lose back pressure (can be a good thing if the engine is designed for it), and it will sound shitte

A Proper sport backbox will make your exhaust noise louder coz theres no silencing within the box. My Peco BB2 box is pretty crappy in my opinion as it's still pretty restrctive. (and if thats 3inch diameter then Peco need a new Ruler! :lol: )

A Good backbox should reduce back pressure.

In general, a quality backbox will cost money. But dont forget even if you replace the backbox, the rest of the system is still normal diameter. I have a 3" pipe all the way from the manifold to the backbox and then had the backbox taken apart and a 3" muffler put in to replace the 2" one that came with it. Now it is loud when you put your foot down but there is a HELL of a lot of gas going through it.
