doubt you'll notice any significant change, thinks it's more in the mind.

Put it this way, if it was effective, it'd be fitted as standard to new cars.

Its worth the money if you do lots of miles!
Mines payed for itself many times over. I've had them on my last three cars and most of my mates run them on my recomendation and also have found that they give good extra milage to a tank of fuel. But there is no noticeable performance increase.

I found out the other day that quiet a few Rally cars run them

yeah i found that it added 30-40miles onto a tank of petrol so in the long run it does pay for itself

they are only "safe" to fit on MPI injection novas ie GTE/GSI/SRi

otherwise they need a new hole making in the manifold for the carbed ones. and thats a lot of hassle lol

Mark

Why do they need a new hole?

the location (on a carbed model) of the brake servo hose means that the farty valve will only "disturb" the air for cylinder 4 and poss 3. so you will get an uneven burn accross the engine. and there has been the odd one or two peeps that have had damage on piston 4.

i really CBA to describe how it does what it claims, as i ahve done this a few tiems many many many posts back
