Peter Kay is from Bolton, Cara is form Bolton - she is programmed to like him more than anyone else :lol:

The office is only really funny if you work in, or have worked in a similar office environment because all offices have someone like the people featured in the show - thats why people love it so much.

Same with pheonix nights - if you have a local working mens club, or pub that you go in all the time you will recognise the characteristics of hte characters and find them funny.

The Office is funny if you watch it not thinking its a comedy. much as it was on its first airing. a lot of people thought it was a proper documentry and it went down a storm.

Its funny because it dosent try to be funny, as any office will be like it so you can realate to it.

and gobby norveners are jsut funny cos they are common.
