going from 1.4sr to 1.6i

How hard is it to go from 1.4 sr to a gsi engine meaning all the wiring, fuel and any other bit i need to no please?cheers damo

GSI engine, you will need fuel tank/pump/lines wiring engine

Most of the wiring is in the seperate ECU loom so that will simplify things. Most of it willjust plug straight in like before though you'll need to connect it into the existing loom in the engine bay, 4 or 5 wires, mainly power supplies and ignition feeds etc.

theres only a few wires. easy.......

bit of work replacing the tank+lines but nothing really that difficult!!

would you have to change the gearbox. i was just gonna leave ma sr gearbox on when i put in the sri engine

sri engine has smaller flywheel and will work with an f10 box

the gte/gsi wont take an f10 box without lots of work!!
