Serious problem with nova

i got a 1.2i corsa engine in a K reg nova, my car stalls when driving after couple ov weeks, ive took it to a few different mechanics now, ive had fuel sender unit changed , oil change , fuel filter , new rotar n leads, sum1 sed it cud be my Backbox or centre Box causin the prob, but fumes are commin out ok. sum1 also sed it cud be my carb, its got 1 fuel injector on it. also the coil. after the car has stalled tho giv it 20 mins or so n it starts again and can drive it for a bit n then same thing will happen. has any1 got any ideas on this, i will be more than grateful for any replies, am just really pissed off now n need to find the problem , thanx alot evry1.

i had same prob on my 1.4 sr. My prob was the carb not sure where on it but i had a pierburg 2e and every 30 miles the car wud lose revs and then die on me. I went yorkshire and had to stop about 7 times i now got a webber and suprise suprise its never dun it since.. Problem solved

mate for a start u aint gunna have a fuel injection inlet with a carb on it?!

they are single point injection arnt they quite similar to a carb on workings maybe the jets are blocked or sumet cuz it sounds just like my prob where as i had a pierburg try changing the inlet

Sounds like fuel pump relay possibly overheating - When it cuts out, do u have spark/fuel?
