spring setup

hey guys

iv just purchsed a 40mm spring kit and am fitting it tomorow. one of the guys where i bought them said that i might have trouble with the springs and shocks dislocating.i am still running the standard shocks i have on my SR

anyone already got this set up or had any probs with it?

I know i used to have a problem on my 1.2 with 60mm lowering springs.

Not sure about ur setup though sorry.

you shouldnt have any problem, i had 60mm springs with my standard shocks. When you start cutting the springs then you start to get problems.

i had this problem on me gte it completely destroyed my front inner wings but that was due 2 may shocks being worn out

If your shocks are in good condition, then you should be ok. However, due to the shocks not being designed to sit with the shorter springs they will need replacing sooner than if you were to run with standard springs.
