Ive been offered a Rockford Fosgate power cap, 1 farad, for ?62 + a pint of carlsberg. rkn its a good price?

how have u lot fixed it cos i dont want it rolling around!

Thats a good price, you can get brackets to hold them in place i think

jus wonderin is it worth avin 1 if your only runnin 1 amp my amp is 1100w
thow if so how are they wired up

as far as i know they're wire up the normal way!!!
bridged the amp if that will effect it.
a stereo fitter fitted it all so there shuldn't be anything fcuked!

the cap wiring is simple.

Just take the big +ve cable from your battery into the +ve of the cap. Then run another wire from the +ve (yes the +ve) to the positive of the amp. Then run a cable from the -ve of the cap to your earthing point. And finally a wire from the remote turn on of your head unit (or amps) to the remote on the cap. That stops it charging when the stereo is off.

dont fancy tacklin the I.C.E myself so i think ill and it over to bass junkies they should set it all up proper cheers 4 the advice ne way..
