What nova's have you lot got. The only thing with track days is you have no insurance, but i dont intend on smacking my motor it has just come bak from the bodyshop:>

Mine's a 1.4 SR with weber 32/34 carb, K&N Bolt-On Filter and soon Jansped Backbox. It's not super quick but it's quick enough for a newbie like myself.

Mine used to be a 1.4 they are good fun, it used to keep up with the odd gti round the bends. The insurance isnt as bad as you would think on a 2.0, i am 20 and they were quoting me ?1200 tpft on a 1.4 and I now pay ?1700 for a 2.0 and it has got quite a few mods.:>

Well i'm 22 but i've only had my license for 2 months.

I'll wait for a years no claims and then have a look. I do like the valvers. I've been in Ian Storeys and loved it.

Thing is if i do ever get it done i won't be telling my mates. It'd be fun seeing their faces when i put my foot down, coz 2 of them have got Astra GSI's and another one has a Saxo VTS.

Oops i'm dreaming again.

You'll waste them. My mate with a vts wont play with me now. I've been driving 3 years and have more points than you would belive and no no claims, I was lucky to get insured. I cant do a lot on the body styling because then the police pull me over more:D

You dont have to have a valver to see off VTS`s and GSi`s! Just put some effort into your existing lump.

I`d definately be up for a track day, I think my 1400 might surprise a few people.

i have a 2.0 16v chipped etc, did 200bhp at the novaload rolling road day, but getting done again sunday, so we'll see how accurate the powerzone rollers were, quite a few of us think they were high.
