GTE exhaust onto 1.4SR Downpipe

Would a Sportex Exhaust system meant for a GTE fit onto a mk2 1.4SR ok? Thinking it could cause problems with the downpipe? What about with a 1.3SR using a 1.4SR downpipe?

Ah yes, it would be pretty interesting getting those 2 systems 2 match! Thanks for the pics - got an idea what I'm building now! going to be a 2inch system, incorporating either a PECO backbox with new 2in tailpipe or a custom stainless backbox, depends which turns out the cheapest I guess! :lol:

or just buy a gte downpipe from your local scrappers/motorfactors and it will fit perfectly

i had a bb4 system off a gte on my old sr. tried to do it the hard way with a big hammer and bend the pipes into place. its best to use all the pipes from a gte.
