battery dead

my 1.3sr has been sitting in the drive for a few weeks now, tryed to start it this morning and even with jump leads to another car it could bearly start the engine. does this eman the battery is shagged or is it possible to get it to start? if yes then how?

Try tow starting it then if it does start drive it round for a while and give it a good run/charge.

Or

Remove battery and put it on charge for a few days on a low setting, the battery would have built up a resistance and you need a long slow attack to get it down not a quick blast wich jump starting will give it.

Check the fluid levels as well.

batteries get a hard time standing for long times uncharged and in the cold too. Its worse if the battery is 4 years +.

But if I was you, simply remove the battery and get it on a bench charger over night and then try again.
