SR engine

Hello I want to fit an sr engine into my 1.2 carb nova, do i just need the engine and gearbox loom and all that or do i need the mounts.

What one shall i go for the 1.3 or the 1.4 i want to tune it with a weber carb, cam, exhaust and what ever else you can fo.

Go for a 1.4. I think the mounts are ok, but im sure someone on here will be able to tell you everything you need to know

putting 1.4sr in a 1.2i very easy, all you need are,

engine,
coil
wiring loom

optional things are,
exhaust system inc. manifold
gearbox if its a f13cr
the anti roll bar

the engine mounts are the same as are driveshafts. worst part of this conversion is taping up all the spre injection wires. also disconnect the injection fuel pump under the back seat and rerout the fuel pipes to the carb

doh, as its into a carb its only an hour or so's work just a straight swap and a wire for the autochoke, just a switched live
