Can anyone help me. I need to find out where i can get alcantara and and leather look vinyl. I'm going to try and retrim my interior. I dont want to pay ?1400 to have it done when I think i can do it has anyone done this before?:-/

I MIGHT be able to get you the materials, my brother owns an upholstery business. I'm not sure of the prices, but if your seriously intrested email me at jim.kelly@minds-eye.net Also, as a word of warning I worked with him for a while and reupholstering normal chairs is hard, doing Car interiors is even harder. If you feel you can do a good enough job then go for it otherwise take it to a profesional as you might be spending more money doing it yourself than letting them to do it.

what interior do you have?? just recovered my sr seats doorcards and made a gaitor looks class if u want some tips i need to know your seats are they 60 40 split took me two weeks in between work but u could do it all in 4 nights i reckon. it only cost me ?30 for the materials plus about 15 needles for the machine do it yourself dont pay daft prices ;)

I'm going to recover a gsi interior, with alcantara and fake leather. How did you do it. Did you un pick the seats and then use the peices as a template, and what did you cover your door cards with.
Thanks Jim. I'll e-mail you in a couple of weeks about the fabrics, i need to get an interior but I think i've got one now. Can your brother get hold of alcantara and fake leather or even real leather.
Any help would be great cheers :-/

Not sure about Alcantara, but leather and fake leather no problem. Where abouts are you? I'm going up to see him this weekend so I could pick up some sample cards of materials if you like. I'll also get some prices on the different materials.
