i suppose you get what you pay for

Yep!

Depending on where you go, what material you choose and how much you want doing (front seats, rear seats, door cards, dash, parcel shelf, etc) you could be looking at a few hundred to a few thousand.

I would place my bet towards the harsher piece of ?2k.

The seats need to be done, each bit needs to be trimmed, and the leather need's to be cut to size etc. The Doorcards are relatively easy to do, but can get more difficult depending on what you have done, the dash is obviously the hardest part. Back seats are again quite hard, and depending on rear doorcards, they could turn out to be expensive.

I've had CJ's Cobra interior which i sold him, and tKathrik's old one, and the Cobra one was nearly ?2k, don't know about this one?!

But I think tht 600-800 is a low price, your looking over a grand, definitely, and more than ikely towards the ?2k mark.

you dont need to spend anywhere near that much, that's 'Carisma' prices. Yes, the work would be VERY good, but your are now paying for the name also.

A good guide for interior re-trim is ?600 (front and rear seats and front doorcards). But gets quite a bit more when headlining, dashboard and rear doorcards (in a nova anyway, as they're 'different') need doing too.

It does depend on the quality of the leather and etc, but you dont need to pay MUCH more than ?600 for it.

Interestingly, the bloke that's painted my car is doing up a Jag and said he got a quoate of ?600 to have interior re-trimmed in leather INCLUDING dashboard! Sounds a bit too good to be true (or quality work) to be honest, but i'll ask him for the number and look into it. That firm is based in Bolton.

it all dpends on wat sort of compnay u take urs too,

id say 4 a top bollock job u cud pay 1K, if u go carisma ud b spending bout 2-3k probs

my m8 got his 106 done in full cream leather for ?680 he lookd in yello pages and went around diff places and found a moderatly sized firm tha tdo it, they did it cheaper due to low overheads etc, its all about looking out the cheapest / best deal and finding a balence,

too many people now jus go to where all the feature cars have there things dun where in reality you can get nie on same results for half the price

There's no need to go to big companies and etc.

Carisma was just Jamie and his reliable old Singer (a sowing machine, duh) in a garage for ages at first.

Thank god for Modern Apprenticeships at Rolls Royce, eh.

best to break it down; get two front seats first and then get rears re-trimmed to match. then all you got left is door cards and dashboard highlights. if you want the max then lastly do carpets and headlining. pay as you go.

why ask what someone on here THINKS, when you can ask Carisma (phone/e-mail) themselves for an ACTUAL QUOTE!?
