if you could fit the full front light set onto a mk1 would it be road legal?
my dad said summit about road regulations and stuff just any guide lines i would have to stick to?
Aslong as they are correctly alligned and securely fitted then there's no reason they should be classed illegal.
I think your Dad is trying to talk you out of it so you don't have your Nova in bits in his garage for a while whilst you swap the headlights!!

in the fial build, side repeators were put in thr front bumper, although to be 100% legal, use golf mk2 items out of thier front bumper

It's only worth doing light transplants if you fit crystal clear glass units. And one's that dont look out of place.
