Engine Tuning Help Needed

Right i've got a 1.2 carb and the bottom end has gone again so i'm putting a 1.4sr carb (14nv) in to.

Is it possible to use the carb and ignition system from a 1.4 astra engine?


As i can't be bothered to try and wire the nova 1.4 sr up.

u can use your 1.2 stuff.. do u mean c14se
the c14nz is centre point injection only 60 bhp

So all i got to do is change the main jet in the carb for a 1.4 and change the camshaft to a slot drive.

The Haynes says the 1.4 carb engine is 14NV.

Single point injection is C14NZ.

Multi Point Injection is C14SE
