Hey, my car sems to be running like totaly s***!
Im sure the timing is out, we done the timing by lookin down at the big pulley that the fan belt was attatched to, and aligned the small mark on the pulley up to a plastic lip on the timing belt cover, accoring to this the timing is spot on, butthe engine runs really lumpy and doesnt have full power, it seems flat and low down in the revs under load there is a kinda rasp farting out the back box.
But, when i advance the timing from the mark it seems to run much quicker and all i hear is powerfull induction noise and it seems alot more like what it shuld be.
Can somebody explain exactly what i should be doing to get the timing spot on with a timing lamp?
