the BX 16v had the MI-16 engine in it. all prolly found there way into pug 205's by now.
at the slight chance of being slated for saying this..they are not that bad..even if it is french :roll:
i dont like um, but after being in a family with BX's for over 15 years, i have experienced them to the fullest..we have had the 1.4 1.6, 1.7 and the 16v BX..they have never let us down, are very powerful, very responsive and dont look that bad... We have the BX 16v in the garden, and is the best out the BX range..very sporty and stylish..
they are good cars for a runabout, very good value at 50 squid

the diesil version is rapid, as is the 16V mi16 engined one.
just a shame the great engines are wrapped in a shitte car lol
It's ugly as fcuk, what more can be said. You would have to be half blind to think it looks good, but when your driving you cant see the outside, so does it matter. Just imagine you're driving something...uhh....better...like a Fiat Panda or summit.
Saw a 16v with the MI 16 engine in at Goodwood - was pretty rapid until they wrote it off. Suspension can be a bit of a mare as they are getting old now
That engine is best off in a Pug quite honestly but there aint no shame in driving one. I can think of way way worse cars

well the guy who's selling it me, his dad is a mechanic and he's done the work on it for past 2 years while my mate had it, so he knows if anything is up with it. He's doing MOT on it, 12 months it'll have, it'll pass as it was his sons and he knows what he's done on it. Ive gotta tax it which will be a bitch but still ?100 for a run about that i know is ok and is mechanicly sound aint too bad. might to a bit of modding to it, might get this kit....

My comments on the BX:
good engine (1.9 diesel it was)
go well nice and comfy etc etc in a straight line
when you want to go round corners expect boat like performance, and I am being serious...
We gave it away to some random bloke (friend of a friend) just made him pay us for the tax that was left on it lol
The cav turbo is much better :D
